While You’re At It …

Attorney General Eric Holder said today that he’s going to look into why the Obama Administration—which promised a dramatic increase in FOIA openness as one of its first official acts—appears to be using FOIA “exceptions” to withhold records more often than previous administrations.

As long as you’re knocking on doors over there … I can’t prove this, but from my experience, it seems that the pace has also slowed between the time the FBI says it has something (in response to a request from me) and the day the material is actually forked over. Anybody out there have similar experiences?
